Students fully immerse themselves in school lessons, improving their English alongside the regular curriculum while living independently in a boarding house. Weekend activities include exploring London, participating in additional school clubs, and optionally joining the Football Academy.Autumn Term OverviewIn the Autumn term at Claremont, international students are welcomed with a mix of academic and cultural experiences, beginning with Halloween festivities. As the term progresses, vibrant Christmas celebrations and ice-skating sessions highlight the community spirit. Students can also enjoy performing arts showcases, Football Academy training, and school outings to explore and bond with peers.Spring and Summer Term OverviewDuring the Spring term, students engage in cultural events like Chinese New Year and Easter, alongside sports such as football and cricket. Trips to the Harry Potter experience and exclusive language events enhance the term's offerings. In Summer, activities like the Claremont Fest, Shakespeare on the Lawn, and Year 9 Skills Quest provide lively end-of-year experiences, while beach outings to Hastings offer quintessential British seaside adventures.Boarding at Claremont SchoolAs with the school day, our immersion students are fully integrated with other boarding students during their time in the boarding houses.Because our boarding houses are away from the main school sites (but still close enough to be just a short 15 minute drive), students often comment on how they like the feeling of independence, and preparation for when they leave education.
