Our dedicated admissions team is here to guide you every step of the way, answering questions, providing support and ensuring that you feel confident throughout the process.
Ed Dickie, Principal
At Claremont, we believe that the admissions process should be smooth and straight-forward for every family. Our dedicated admissions team is here to guide you every step of the way, answering questions, providing support and ensuring that you feel confident throughout the process. We are excited to help you discover what makes our school community so special and how we empower every child to become their best. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our school.
Claremont is an academically diverse school, with students of differing skills and aptitudes. We prepare young people for a wide range of destinations, from Oxford to apprenticeship programmes. We do not select on academic ability.
For domestic admissions all prospective students take a CAT test to ensure we have the information that will allow us to best support your child.Â
International students are required to take an English assessment test in their home country (Password) or provide an up-to-date IELTS or Cambridge result.Â
All students are expected to be in school by 8.15am. The end of day depends on your age, with Pre-Prep students ending at 3:30pm and Prep and Senior students finishing at 4.30pm. We offer a range of wrap around care options for younger children.
All Pre-Reception, Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior School students wear the school's uniform.Â
In the Sixth Form students are expected to wear ‘business attire’ of their choosing.Â
There is a shared sports uniform across all sections of the school.Â
Please refer to our Tuition fees page for further details on application fees for day and international students.
