Claremont School is celebrating excellent A Level and BTEC results, with students securing places at a diverse range of destinations. The results reflect not only strong academic achievement, but the breadth of pathways Claremont opens up for every student, regardless of their starting point. Students taking our BTEC qualifications in 2026 have achieved over 2 grades higher than that predicted by aptitude testing, which is testament to their hard work and the personalised support each student receives in our Sixth Form.

This year's cohort is going on to pursue courses spanning the sciences, humanities, creative arts and vocational disciplines, a reflection of the School's commitment to nurturing individual strengths rather than a single definition of success. Destinations in this cycle are Law and Biological Sciences at Surrey, Politics at Exeter, Film & TV Production at Falmouth, Psychology at UCL, Architecture at Kingston, Acting at LMA and a media apprenticeship. From competitive Russell Group offers to specialist vocational routes, Claremont students are moving forward into higher education and employment with genuine confidence in the direction they have chosen. Over 90% of our students have reached their first choice of destination in 2026, which is a remarkable achievement in today's increasingly competitive market for school leavers.

"These results are a testament to the hard work of our students and the dedication of our staff," commented the school’s Principal, Ed Dickie. "But what makes us proudest is not simply the grades themselves, it's what they represent: the success of young people who have each had their own journey of discovery.”

Claremont School has long believed that qualifications alone are not enough to guarantee success in today's rapidly changing educational and workplace environment. As employers increasingly prioritise adaptability, resilience and character alongside technical knowledge, the School has placed equal emphasis on developing the skills and attitudes that allow students to turn academic achievement into lasting career success. Through its five pillars, performing arts programme and football academy, combined with alongside a rigorous academic curriculum, Claremont equips students with the confidence, curiosity and work ethic that universities and employers alike value so highlyare looking for.

“A holistic approach is central to what Claremont does best: identifying potential early, providing a platform for ambition, and supportingensuring that every student, whatever their starting point, in finding is able to find a pathway that is genuinely their own. The School's results this year are a clear demonstration of that philosophy in action.”

With the landscape of higher education and employment continuing to evolve, Claremont remains committed to preparing students not just to meet the demands of today's world, but to shape their own futures within it. The School's approach recognises that success looks different for every individual, and that a truly excellent education is one that can flex to support each student's unique ambitions.

Claremont extends its congratulations to every student receiving results this year, and to the staff and families who have supported them throughout their journey. The School looks forward to following their progress as they take the next step, whether that is at university, in an apprenticeship, or in the world of work.
