We offer a number of scholarships to Sixth Form students. These awards are made to individuals who demonstrate outstanding potential in one or more of the following areas: Sport, Creative and Performing Arts and Academic subject areas. The Claremont Sixth Form experience is designed with this knowledge at its very heart. Our aim is to prepare young men and women, both inside and outside the classroom so that they are equipped with the right balance of knowledge and skills to not only make good decisions about their futures, but to be the masters of their own destiny when priorities and interests evolve or even change completely.

Our study programmes are tailored to the individual, academically rigorous, and supported by the widest possible range of ‘hands-on’ learning experiences. This means that when Sixth Form students leave Claremont, they take with them a portfolio of evidence not only charting their academic attainment, but also evidencing the skills they have developed, the experiences they have had and all round capabilities as a student, employee and citizen.
Academic Scholarships are awarded to pupils who demonstrate an outstanding level of intellectual ability.
Co-Curricular Scholarships will be awarded to students who excel in one or more of the following co-curricular areas – Sport, Music, Drama, Art or Equestrian.
All-Rounder Scholarships are awarded to students who excel both academically and within one or more co-curricular areas.
Throughout the school year, a full fixtures programme allows scholars to continually test out their sporting skills on a competitive level alongside inter-house matches and tournaments to also encourage healthy competition amongst peer groups.
The decisions on the distribution of scholarships are made by the Scholarship Committee, made up of the Principal of Claremont, the Headmaster of Claremont Senior School, the Director of Sixth Form and the Assistant Head Academic with advice taken from the leaders of the various areas where scholarships are offered.

Both give financial assistance but are completely separate in their assessment. Scholarship awards are given to pupils who have demonstrated excellence and ability in their chosen scholarship area. A bursary can be given in recognition of financial need and can be applied for on behalf of any pupil who is registered with the School, regardless of ability. A bursary can also supplement a scholarship award amount. Bursaries are means-tested, so parents are asked to complete a financial circumstances form which is then assessed by the Principal.
