When our school became part of the ISP group in March 2018, our community gained a whole new global context. In addition to renewed investment in our facilities (amongst many ongoing projects, a new state-of-the-art dance studio, a fantastic photography centre with dark room, a bright and roomy new art studio, numerous modern performance spaces for our talented musicians), being part of the ISP group has also meant new opportunities for Claremont students to connect with the rest of the world and take their learning to a whole new level! Our A level Spanish students benefit directly from fantastic exchange visits with their ISP counterparts in Malaga, whilst younger students are able to stay with Spanish families for a month as part of the ISP Buddy Exchange Programme.
In addition to the many opportunities foreign language students have to practise their linguistic skills, being part of ISP enables students to broaden their knowledge and experience of life beyond the school gates, instilling in them a sense of risk-taking and adventure that will enable them to thrive in an increasingly global world. Nothing speaks more international than the way our students are able to explore and debate the key issues of the day, alongside fellow ISP students from across the globe at the annual ISP Model United Nations event whilst the ISP International Summer Camp offers diverse and exciting learning opportunities as well as the chance for students to make new friends from around the world.
