Be Yourself At Claremont (5)

Open Mornings

We hold Open Mornings at regular intervals during the academic year. These provide an opportunity for prospective parents to visit the School, meet the staff and pupils, and view the facilities and grounds. Senior staff members are always available at these events to discuss your child’s education.

Our Open Mornings are held on Friday and Saturday mornings. Friday Open Mornings enable parents to see pupils at work during a normal school day, whilst the Saturday provides an opportunity for working parents to visit the School at the weekend. Each event starts at 9.30am and ends at 1.00pm during which time the Headteachers give a short, informal welcome speech with lots of information and advice as to how parents can get the best out of their visit to Claremont.

  • Pending government guidelines our next on-site Open Mornings are scheduled for October 2020 and March and May 2021 (including an exclusive Forest School Experience for children aged 0-11  at our Prep School site in St Leonards-on-Sea).  We will continue to offer virtual open morning experiences throughout the year with our next one also scheduled for October 2020.  In the meantime, we encourage prospective parents to visit our Virtual Open Morning Content Hub, where the May 2020 Open Day webinar is available ‘On Demand’, along with virtual tours and opportunities to meet other members of staff and view students’ work.  Click here to explore.

If you are unable to attend one of our Open Mornings, or simply can’t wait for the next one, we conduct private tours of the School throughout the year. If you would like to arrange a private tour or have any questions at all about our school, please contact the Head of Admissions lily.lam@claremontschool.co.uk or fill in the enquiry form below.

Individual Tours & Taster Days

Individual tours can be arranged at a time to suit you but in line with current government guidelines relating to social distancing.  We would also invite all children wishing to join Claremont (from Year 1 upwards) to spend a ‘taster day’ with their contemporaries once our School has reopened. This allows them to experience life at Claremont for themselves alongside pupils of their own age. Taster Days also enable teachers and new pupils to spend some time getting to know each other prior to admission.  For more information contact the Admissions Team
