Our speakers have tried to focus on the questions they get asked most regularly by prospective parents when they come to visit.  Claremont School has a remarkable history and has been on an extraordinary journey over recent years, culminating in a new and exciting partnership with ISP and a third consecutive  ‘Outstanding’ rating from Ofsted in March 2019.  Having achieved the much-coveted Green Flag Award, BBC Reporter School status and with an exciting multi-phase site development in full swing across the Prep school site, we have much to be proud of and plenty to look forward to.  Meet some of our key speakers …

'Through School' Experience

From the Nursery all the way up to Sixth Form, we nurture a culture of mutual respect where every idea has value and possibilities and where pupils learn first hand, that hard work and perseverance lead to better outcomes. We understand that the needs, aims and aspirations of Senior School students approaching their GCSE years and the world of work are very different from those of the children in the Prep School, but many of our Prep School teachers have trained and worked in secondary education, so they are extremely knowledgeable about the challenges that lie ahead. By knowing each child so well and by working closely with the teaching and pastoral leads at the senior school, the Prep School team are able to ensure that by the time children reach Year 8, they are able to quickly adjust to their new senior school routines, and make swift progress in and outside the classroom.
