We have a unique opportunity to appoint a dynamic and innovative Head of Science to take responsibility for the development, progress, and attainment of Science from years 9 to 13. The successful candidate will have proven leadership skills and have a strong academic background as a graduate in Biology, Chemistry or Physics. They will have the drive and determination to lead further forward a thriving and successful department, with a record of academic achievement and value-added for its students.
Our ideal candidate will be an outstanding practitioner, able to inspire and motivate, leading by example. Science is a highly popular subject at A level, and the successful candidate will be building on strong foundations and be able to think strategically and plan for further growth of the department. The right candidate would also be considered to lead the Science Faculty, which includes a range of subjects including Psychology and PE.
