Claremont School is a highly successful, co-educational, independent day and boarding school for children aged 1 to 18. We have been rated as “Outstanding” both in 2016 and 2019. We have over 700 students with a community of approximately 100 boarders from the UK as well as other countries around the world, adding an important international and multicultural dimension to the School.

We are seeking a highly committed and self-motivated Tutor to join our Boarding Team at the earliest opportunity. The successful candidate will support the Housemistress/Master with the day to day running of the boarding house and implement boarding policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the welfare of young people, will be able to address challenges with a positive upbeat attitude and have a hands-on approach. The qualities essential to the role are enthusiasm, energy and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of boarding life.
This position is suitable for residential and non-residential tutors alike. For a residential tutor, single staff accommodation will be provided. This post is term-time only with the hours of work being approximately 40 hours a week.Previous boarding experience is preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
