Reach Up – The Dance Show

‘Reach Up’ is a celebration of dance performed by talented students from Year 6 to Year 13. It is a showcase of studies in dance since the opening of our fabulous new dance studio at our Bodiam site in September 2019, where you will see a range of pupils’ work and examination performances from boys contemporary to Year 13 BTEC Performing Arts in Legally Blonde.

Head of Dance at Claremont School – Beth Eckhoff BA ISTD DDI PGCE
Beth started her dance training at Redhurst Dance School (RAD and ISTD examinations) in West Sussex and continued her dance training at Liverpool John Moores University to gain her BA Hons in Dance. After graduating she worked in London for the Central Council of Physical Recreation for the Dance Department working on professional events and advocating dance in the city. She then went to Brighton University to gain her PGCE in Dance and started her Masters in Education at Bedford University. Beth gained her Dance Instruction Diploma from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and opened her own dance school, Foxdale Dance. She moderates for the exam board AQA and teaches in other schools to support the study of Dance. Beth has been teaching in education for 14 years and joined Claremont in September 2019.
