Mission, Vision and Values

We are one school and one community, with different sites, different teams, different people, from different cultures and different backgrounds, but we have one mission and shared principles that unite us all.

Our Values

Respect for oneself • Respect for others • Respect for our environment

Our Mission

To create the best possible school environment for our students to learn and exceed their expectations so they leave Claremont empowered for the next stage of their life.

Our Vision

To be a respectful learning community with an unwavering commitment to ‘get better’ at all we do, because learning is a journey that never ends.

Key Principles

Putting our Students First
We have high expectations of our students in all areas of their education. Their success is our success. We are all involved in helping them understand our values and must lead by example in this regard.

Improving student learning and preparing them for life beyond school, is the key driver in all our decisions and plans. Our students and their success comes first.

The Team
We understand the importance of looking after our staff and their welfare. We continuously look for ways to improve the staff experience and provide opportunities for listening to one another and responding to the needs of our staff.

The Value of Community
At Claremont we value the strength of our community. We look for ways to strengthen and build relationships both within our School and also our local and wider community. As part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), we recognise and realise the strength and value of being part of a wider community of schools, from all around the world, and the far reaching benefits to the School and our students.

Continuous Learning
‘Getting better’ at whatever we do, should motivate every individual, every team and the School as a whole. We believe that learning is a journey that we are all involved in and a journey that never ends.

Responsible Management
We make financial choices based on the needs of our students first. With the support and guidance of ISP, we understand the importance of running a financially robust and responsible school. We are committed to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the School and operating in a considerate and environmentally conscious manner.
