Please fill in the form below to receive further details from our Admissions Team
Our Performing Arts pathway has been designed to help students explore creativity in its many guises. It is a programme that encourages students to aim high, experiment and take risks in a safe and supportive learning environment where everyone can shine.
The way that staff and students work together in the department allows for deeper understanding of each other and of the work produced. The depth and breadth of theatrical work we explore gives our young people every opportunity to advance their performance skills; to challenge their preconceptions about people and situations; and to truly understand the magnitude of what is possible through performance.

I think the teachers are amazing at teaching you life skills, as well as what you need to pass an exam. One of the main things they have taught me is resilience, how to bounce back, and how to think on my feet.

Sarah trained as an actor at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (Theatre Studies – Acting BA Hons) and Manchester Metropolitan University (PGCE). This followed her path to obtain a PGCE from Brighton University.
Beth holds a Diploma In Dance Education with the Imperial Society of Teacher of Dance in the Classical Ballet genre. She has been examining for the AQA exam board for the last 12 years for GCSE Dance. Beth has a dog called Murphy and enjoys all things creative!

Following this, she completed a Masters in Music (Composition) at the University of Nottingham. Natasha has taught Music and Music Technology for over ten years, and also has experience as a freelance record producer. Claire trained as an actor at Mountview Theatre School before specialising at the Desmond Jones School of Mime and Physical Theatre. She worked professionally for the English Shakespeare Company, Oxfordshire Touring Theatre and Young Shakespeare. Claire travelled all over the world, often being cast as energetic young boys, sprites and an array of small furry animals.
Claire used her skills in the corporate world as a facilitator and workshop leader freelancing for a variety of creative agencies including So Just Add Water, Purple Monster and Identity. Through her love of Shakespeare Claire began to work in schools running Shakespeare workshops.
Claire is a LAMDA specialist and has been teaching the syllabus for over 20 years with students from all over the world. When Claire is not at work, she can often be found at The Globe (one of her favourite places), walking her Scottie along the seafront or watching her son’s band!
Performing Arts is like no other area of their student life - it is a doorway to the fullest expression of themselves - something of profound value to our students.
We focus on the whole person in the Performing Arts, everything that a student is, everything they stand for and against, their interests, their cultures and experiences all feed into the work that they produce and how they reflect upon the work we create.
The skills needed and developed in the creative processes alter each and every young person - they find both camaraderie and self reliance, leaving them feeling gently held and fully empowered. We treat our young performers as professionals and professionals is what they become.
As part of International Schools Partnership - ISP, we share a purpose to grow the world’s most curious, confident minds.
