Following a three-day Ofsted inspection in March, Claremont School has been judged ‘Outstanding’ across all categories.   Having secured 16 out of 16 ‘Outstanding’ judgements in all of its previous three inspections, the School received high praise from inspectors once again; recognising consistency in the quality of teaching and learning from the Nursery and Pre-Prep, all the way up through the Prep, Senior School and Sixth Form.   Ofsted inspectors reported ‘This happy and successful school has gone from strength to strength since the previous inspection’ and commented on the School’s ‘consistently strong teaching…’, ‘high standards of behaviour, good manners and respectful relationships…’ and ‘…well planned curriculum… that ‘prepares them [pupils] exceptionally well for the next stage of their education’.

Principal Mr Perrin said “It has been a triumph of teamwork and all that is good about our community.  I am delighted that Ofsted have once again recognised all the work we do to deliver the best pupil outcomes and in preparing our students for life as teenagers in the 21st century. Claremont is a safe, happy and extraordinarily vibrant school with much to be proud of and plenty to look forward to.  The judgements of this Ofsted inspection are testament to this and fully recognise why Claremont is such a special and unique place to learn and work.”
