Welcome to Claremont   

Claremont Preparatory and Nursery School is a very special place where children thrive and enjoy every moment of their day. Many pupils join us aged one and remain with the school until they reach the age of thirteen.

Family Values

Claremont places a very high value on family life, and therefore there is neither boarding nor Saturday school. We believe children benefit greatly from spending quality time with their families. However, we do all we can to help working parents. Pupils may arrive at school at 8.00am and be collected at 6.00pm. We  operate several school buses which bring children to school in the morning and deliver them home again in the evening.

Academic Excellence 

In addition to a broad academic curriculum, all pupils enjoy excellent music, drama, art and sporting opportunities. We teach French from the age of four, and make full use of our own study centre in northern France to develop the linguistic skills of all Prep School pupils. We have a maximum class size of 18, allowing pupils to benefit from very high levels of individual attention.

We are fortunate to occupy an outstandingly beautiful site with over 100 acres of grass pitches, open fields and mature woodland.
