School Day    

The 'core' school day for the Preparatory School lasts from 8.30am until 4.30pm. The Pre-Prep Department starts at the same time but finishes at 3.30pm.

Children can arrive at school from 8.00am and may be collected at the end of the 'core' day, or stay at school until 6.00pm.

Pupils in the Pre-Preparatory Department may join one of the many after-school clubs between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.

They may then be collected, or return to the Pre-Preparatory Department for Late Stay. During this time they enjoy a drink and afternoon tea.   

Pupils in the Preparatory School are encouraged to remain at school until 6.00pm to complete their prep in a supervised environment. Children with longer journeys home often leave at 4.30pm and complete their prep at home.

On Fridays, formal lessons in the Preparatory School end at 3.30pm and all pupils join a club of their choice.

Clubs  

Pre-Preparatory clubs include French, music, art, dance, gymnastics and ICT, but may vary from term to term.

Preparatory School clubs include art, dance, gymnastics, ICT, indoor games, outdoor games, golf tuition (at a local golf club) and tennis coaching (in the summer term). Similarly new clubs are added from term to term to give variety.
